ExperienceI received my Psychology degree from The College of New Jersey. I currently serve as a Family Medicine resident in all three of the of the area Kennedy hospitals. I started my tutoring career with a 7th grade student who was having trouble keeping up due to a mild learning disability. I learned a lot of patience and creativity through that experience. From that student, I gained experience tutoring math, English, science, history, and SAT Verbal Reasoning prep. I have also tutored an art major in biology.I use a lot of creative methods for tutoring due to the various learning styles of my students. Learning is more than just an intellectual thing. It needs to be combined with emotional and nutritional support. I hope to use my background in counseling psychology, as well as my medical training, to give my students that support. My previous students have helped me learn how to creatively explain hard to understand concepts.Even with all of that, I still find time to have some personal interests, such as catching up on current events, exercising, swimming, playing volleyball and soccer, eating, sleeping, and watching documentaries.
Hobbieshealth and exercise, documentaries, documentaries about food, eating food, current events, soccer, volleyball, and running.
